Especially for christmas time you want to decorate your table better than the other time. Here are some decoration ideas, which are easy to make for yourself.
Christmas Decoration, gifts and ideas
Really, artifical christmas trees look always cheap, even if they're expensive. Use natural trees or twigs. Here is a very simple example, which looks very good and is easy to make.
Fill some washed stones into a piece of jute and bind it loosely together. Put some pine twigs into the opening and fixate the knot.
Push the stones several times on the table so that the tree will stand secure.
A red, maybe a deep blue, loop finishes the christmas gift.
The Santa Claus figures you can buy in a toy shop, but always keep in mind that the collection should not look cheap.
Here you can see the little christmas tree as a table decoration for a christmas table. Here's a white tablecloth, in this case a little one for the middle of the table. I let flow a red ribbon across the table. Other elements are the unavoidable red christmas candle in a candlestick, one or two little santas and a red string of pearls.
Do-it-yourself christmas decoration?
Best used for table decoration are dryed slices of oranges, cinnamon in pieces or Nuts. Tie them togehter with hot glue and golden wire. You can find this tools in some handicraft shops.

You can make very nice decoration with clay. Use simple forms like stars or squares, make some notches in it. Then burn the clay, and paint it with brown colors. You can also make "pralinés" from clay.
