The Lounge
The main room in our restaurant has been renovated in 1978. The frankish beer pub, where it a use to bring own brotzeit, became a restaurant.
The noon
Sunday noon come the people of Forchheim and enjoy the franconian specialities.
Once you've tried the frankish Schaeuferla fresh from the
oven, you'll never forget it.
Here's still the traditional drink with the mates after going to church, and someone comes, who was even not in the church...
Family-friendly
As you see, family and children are welcome. Of course there are children's seats, and
also there are books and drawing stuff for children.
Please note that we open from 11:00 to 14:OO only via reservation. Sunday is always open, noon too.
Rudolfstube
Named according to Rudolf Scheller, the founder of the Gasthaus.
The room leads directly to the lounge. Little bit smaller, little bit refined.
Perfectly for business meetings.
In the background you can see a carved Madonna, which is made by one of my ancients. Rudolf Scheller, the founder was also the last wood carver of the family.
In the evening it's a little bit different. We will care specially for you, as you
like it: romantic or in festive mood, we will always take care of you.
Just enjoy and let you spoil. Read the rich menu list. Let your
soul flow; enjoy the candle light dinner, the pleasant
atmosphere, the fine wines.
Piano Music by Myself
It is no pure chance that there's a piano in the Rudolfsstube. Mostly I sit for myself
at the instrument and play classic music. At this time I prefer Chopin Etudes and Nocturnes.
