Waterlily
Waterlily
The waterlily looks good on a place plate. In the center there's room for additional decoration, e.g. a flower.
Open the napkin completely and fold all edges to the center.
Again, fold all edges to the center, then turn the napkin backwards.
And again, all edges to the center. The napkin becomes thicker and thicker, a third hand
would be helpful.
Now pull all loose corners upwards, first the edges...
and then the corners under the sides. The napkin becomes round automagically :-)
Swan and Peacock
Swan and Peacock
Here we have the only forms, where we need additional material: a piece of aluminium foil.
Cut the aluminium foil slightly smaller than the napkin, so that won't look out later.
Drop it on the napkin and fold it together at the center line.
Again onto the center line and then again. It's like to fold an paper plane.
Give the neck the form. Try to get a soft bend.
Put the ship for the swan or the simple fan for the peacock into the napkin and it's done!
